Since yellow-orange is the international colour of "caution" safety, yellow was used as its key colour. Black is the supporting secondary colour which can help define the company's logo in more clarity.
The client require the first alphabet initial letter of each of its company name (G)lobal (S)ource (E)ngineering to be incorporated within its logo. The letter "G", "S" and "E" are embedded within the roundel and two swerves which can be cognitively deciphered with ease.
A roundel was used as part of the logo design due to its shape representation to that of a globe, to affiliate with the company's namesake to be "global". The two swerves within the roundel represents the "source"; the company's synergy to provide services and goods for its client.
