Proposed Concept Logo for Aljunied-Hougang Town Council Logo Contest
Consisted boths representative history colours from the previous Aljunied Town Council and Hougang Town Council respectively, red (a strong colour element, part of our nation, a colour that was part of Aljunied Town Council; also as HDB flats) and lighter blue (represent a river, in which Hougang was known in Teochew/ Hokkien as "river end").
An additional green represents the balance of ecological relationship between man and environment, and the will of preservation of it.
The roundel-looking graphics are actually two persons holding hands, representing the town councilors and residents working together.
