Unofficial Music Video Draft - Astreal's "Snowflake"

This music draft for Astreal, a local band. It was a school project for my Final Year Project (FYP) module.

We were one of the first few FYP teams to work extensively with media industry from the private sector for Singapore Polytechnic's Diploma in Multimedia Technology.

For this project, I was handling most of the executive production, camera works and equipment logistics planning. Basically borrowed the school's best equipment out of town to overseas. Although it was filmed in Batam, it is no less an important experience and also one of the pride of my school works.

We were working with Michael Wiluan, one of the pioneers who was experimenting with 3D animation, visual effects and video production. The last I heard of him, he was the Managing Director of Infinite Frameworks.

Bayer-Schering Pharma Leaflets Layout

I must have done hundreds of layouts for Bayer-Schering Pharma Asia-Pacific countries; Singapore, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong, Macau and Brunei.

In terms of content management, it is a colossal task. However, working with my team from the regional logistics department and cooperation from colleagues from the APAC region, I have also learnt many processes for compliance and control.

School project, an artificial magazine for airplane enthusiasts known as "Take Off".

One of my proudest works: Affluent Magazine – magazines layout and design done by me for the year 2007.

Yes, its all single handedly done by one designer, not only doing design, but also the digital imaging retouch on photographs by the thousands before selection. Also did sub-editing and layout concepts. Not to mention the content management was also colossal task.

Love that job but pity I had to leave.

3D Animation "The Ohama Beach"

One of my proudest works, The Ohama Beach, depicting rodents attacking beachhead for the Normandy landings during World War II.

Did most of the textures and mappings, created some weapons and modelled the environment and the bunker structures.

Made the 3D waters and environment, all random items in the boat and character Chubbles. All textures done by me.

First Three 3D Models

My first three 3D models, done in 2001.

Starting from the simplest mug, an award plaque (polytechnic crest mapped using accurate mapping) and a complex YF-23 aircraft model.

F-18 in Hangar

This is a 3-man group project 3D image rendering done in 2003 during for my diploma course.

Basically I worked on the environmental objects like crates, barrels and etc, and stuctures outside the hangar.
